  2. I am looking to buy a good TV for my bedroom. probably 32inch.
But I am confused between LCD and LED.
At lower price its only Edge LED and LCD. some say full LED is only better in high end tv's.
All LED tv in my price range are Edge Lit and they are on par with LCD?.
LCD's are now improved from past and they are also good.
I am looking to buy TV with Best Image quality in price range of $1000 with motion rate of 120hz or more.
need help of you guyz thank you.

  5. While CCFL lit (cathode tubes) lcd tv's have life expectancy of about 60,000 hours, LED backlit tv's have theoretical expectancy of 100,000 hours or even more. That is 11 and a half years of continuous 24/7 work. Since LED backlit tv's have been around for only few years, no one really knows if they will actually achieve that long life.

It is much more likely something other will go wrong with your tv over the years, like power box or motherboard.

  25. thats the effect of motion video or picture that plasmas have when you take a picture or video of them. take a picture of a plasma and the blacks look gray. take a picture of an lcd/led and the blacks look blacker than the set is capable of.

  26. Thanks for all the details! He answered all the questions I had :)

  27. which one has the fastest image creation time from black to white??? concerning imput lag

  28. The newer plasma TV's are very hard to burn in, it's image retention and with regular viewing will go away. After my expensive 2-3 year old 40" Samsung LCD started having issues I will not buy an LCD ever again, and my parents 7 year old Panasonic plasma is still working. Got myself a 3D plasma and wow image is crisp and clear. I got a plasma from the best Panasonic, Pioneer used to be king for best plasmas. It does have a coating on it to stop light and it works good comparable to my old LCD.

  29. GOOD:Plasma good for Watching TV/Movies in HD.
BAD: Burns out quickly/ Mostly comes to turn out with white spots
GOOD:Led is great for gaming(Xbox 360,PS3) Saves energy based on the brightness on the TV
BAD: Color isnt as great as Plasma

  30. You are right, LED/LCDs have better blacks in bright conditions, while Plasma's black levels looked washed out in those bright conditions. But when there are no lights, it gets reversed (Plasma owns LED/LCDs in low light conditions).

  37. An I.Q. of 156 78%/100% is almost a Telepathic Mind.Your Plasma initial 1st &2nd Statements are easy"Sarcasm"to me at 78% Average Genius I.Q.I suggest, you don't think everybody around you are Stupid,if they have 138 I.Q.(130 or over is Genius Category.)they will spot your Sarcasm easily concerning other issues besides your now down-grading Plasma Technology to almost CRT Performance which is NOT the case.Watch it on this Earth because if you see a smile on the other person, your Sarcasm spotted!!

    ReplyDelete
  38. I am both a University Chemical Engineer &College Computer Science Graduate. Your Sarcastic now with Plasmas.Although Plasma has Gas Electron Excited R.G.B.Panel Technologies.Gas when excited, tends to"Blote or have it Pixels become somewhat larger than LCD & LED Squared Tablet Pixels. If you look closely at 30cm.from the Plasma Screen you easily see the Bloted Gas Pixels but on LCDs & LEDs,you will need a 10x Magnifier to easily see the R.G.B. Pixels. This is why LCD-LEDs have smoother images!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  39. Your Sarcacism showing.Plasmas do have burn in but it takes many days of a constant permanent image or lettering for it to happen with the Plasma permanently ON for days.Sarcasm on your splotches on the screen from playing Video games.Although,I do hate Plasma HDTVs,they are NOT the Sarcasm failures that you now proclaim."Plasmas is good for like sports or hd channels".So,are LCD & LED 1080p 120 & 240 Hertz HDTVs Excellent for Sports &HD 720p & 1080i Channels.Don't play with me,my I.Q.=156/78%!!

  40. True and Plasmas burn in when you watch the news. It will also get splotches on the screen from playing video games. LED LCD Tvs are best for gaming, news, cartoons, more. Plasma is good for like sports or hd channels.

  41. Yes Abosolutely Yes,LEDs with Manual Local Dimming with 240 Hertz Refresh Rates REIGHN SUPREME Displays Super DELUXE over All other HDTV Displays. You will be very happy with your 1920 x 1080p 3D LED HDTV Full Backlightening with Manual Local Dimming/Brightening Capabilities if Price is NOT your worry,Go for it if the money is NOT a concern at 52" or 55" Categories. In 60",65" &70" or 80" HDTVs,you are better to go with highier Pixeled Expensive 4K HDTVs at 8 MegaPixel ranges. But 55" are nice!!

  42. Comparing a old 720p plasma to a newer LED LCD 1080P HDTV at your local walmart is beyond a unfare comparison.People have been told the LCD is better than Plasma for years. Why is it then the benchmark for HDTV's for the last couple of years has been, how does it compare to a Kuro?(pioneer plasma). Which haven't been in prodution for several years now.

  43. Hello mate. I'm from England and I have been looking for a tv for a while. I want to thank you very much for explaining the differences between technologies. You've made it very simple and clear for people to understand without going into too much boring detail.
If I was living near to you, I'd certainly be coming in to your store. You'd definitely sell to me, so well done!!!

  44. This Video/Audio should NOT be called "ZOBO T.V." but exchanged the "Z" for "B" and "B" for "Z" to read "BOZO T.V. BOZO=Dumb-Zombies"!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  45. The bottom HDTV is an"LCD and LED HDTVs Televisions".Obviously LCD & LED 1080p Televisions have Superior Picture Smooth Images & Vibrant Colours when compared to the Upper-Horrific Faded Washed out Garbage-Plasma T.V.s.Also,at T.V.stores,I can easily see the Pixels on Plasma-Garbage T.V.s & I CANNOT see any Pixels on either LCD or LED HDTVs which have Smooth-Images & Vibrant-Vivid Colours Razor Sharp. This Video/Audio Sales-Idiot is lying about Plasmas as better displays. The BEST are LCDs &LEDs!!

  46. So our 40" 720p LCD tv has bit the dust. I'm thinking of a 40+" 1080p LED tv as a replacement. Any one agrees?

    LCD's & LED's are WAY Better HDTV's!!
