Hatton TV - Championship boxing live from Walsall 18th November 2011
A championship battle tops the bill on Hatton TV's next big fight night live from Walsall Town Hall. Sean McKervey puts his Midlands Area welterweight title on the line against Black Country ticket-seller Jason Welborn on Friday, November 18 in what promises to be a terrific 10-round scrap on a show that also includes the return of former English lightweight champion Martin Gethin. McKervey, a tough-as-they-come punching machine from Coventry, will be making the first defence of the title he took from Welborn's stablemate, Kevin McCauley, last December. Welborn, from Tividale, has secured his title chance by putting together four straight wins in the last 12 months and that has convinced manager Errol Johnson that the 25 year-old is ready to step up to championship class.

ReplyDeleteYou dicksplat. Martin Gethin is my uncle, so I've got no need to 'make shit up'. So behave you salad.
ReplyDeleteMartin Gethin definitely British champ early next year, and for the commentator, he never sits down in the corner just because he likes to keep on his feet.

ReplyDeletewelborn 2 rounds up imo, good fight
ReplyDeleteThis could turn into an amazing fight if it goes all 10 rounds
ReplyDeleteCome on Jason Tividale's behind ya
ReplyDeleteIInteresting clash. McKervey is a solid southpaw who who is never in a dull fight but that could be his downfall against a solid-punching scrapper like Welborn. If it goes past six, it's Sean's to lose.
ReplyDeleteShaun Messer is good ref
