  21. Will this fix work for a Toshiba Regza? I'm having the same fucking problem with my 52" and I can't seem to diagnose the problem. :(

  23. HELP!!! I had the exact problem and followed these exact steps. It fixed the vertical lines on the right side and then immediately, the screen went black. Haven't been able to get a picture since. Were the vertical lines a symptom of something more severe that I caused to happen prematurely?

the screen get a sock or fall
the chip in the top of the screen moved some how .move the plastic cover of the screen (see youtube toshiba change bad screen vedio to se how)
now take 4 scrows that attach the glass screen with the black toshiba cover down to bend the screen and se what is behind it
there is in the upper a chip with very tiny wire connection to the screen move it that one of the connection strech if he is not

you will notice dissapearing when moving the chip right or down

  32. Hi, I had a similar problem with my LCD tv. I reseated the flex cable and lost all picture on the screen. Tried reseating both a few times but it never came back. All I touched were the flex cables. Any suggestions?

  33. Great video (had to turn the audio off though). I thought I would mention that a burnishing brush works wonders on those cables.

  36. Hi is this the same principle for one vertical line for a 3d LED tv (samsung PS50C7000) ?

Appreciate any help you can offer!

  37. Hello, I have one white vertical line with my samsung lcd tv that looks like the one you have at 2:35 but I have reset my flex cables and no change but they also don't change when I flex my tv. Can you guide me to what might be the problem if my cables have been reset? Thanks for the video!!!!

  38. I don't understand this. I am assuming that your TV, as mine is, hangs static on the wall, or sits on a stand, another assumption is the use of the remote... Why is the TV flexing?

  39. Hi, This video is great but I have a similar problem with my samsung LCD tv, just not exactly the same. The left half of my screen goes dark, an moves slower and kind of ghosts when the tv is first turned on and then works fine when i tap the back of the tv and the same thing only occurs every so often once the tv has "warmed up" and then goes away after 20-30 secs. Any suggestions or ideas would be great. thanks!

  40. secure them with something not conductive and heat resistant, like I did on this video. You have the same problem, just that the false contact is on the union with the bond tabs. It's not always fixable, Its not always fixable, but Its worth the try. Be very careful, the screen is very delicate and expensive. also you'll be working while the tv is on, So again, be very very careful, you could get an electric shock. Good luck!

  41. hi there, Ok, for all the symptoms you tell me you'll need to disasamble the tv, back cover, front cover, then remove the metalic frame it holds in place the screen, you need to be very careful, before removing it, be sure to lay down the tv cause after removing the metal frame the screen could fall and breake, its the only thing that holds it in place. once you remove that, start pressing gently the bond tabs on the left side once you find the one or ones that are causeing the flicke

  42. Unfortunately these are not the lines that are problematic for me! They are horizontal, quite thin and flicker about somewhat randomly.
