ReplyDeleteWill this fix work for a Toshiba Regza? I'm having the same fucking problem with my 52" and I can't seem to diagnose the problem. :(
ReplyDeleteJust had the same thing happen to me. I should've read your post first.
ReplyDeleteHELP!!! I had the exact problem and followed these exact steps. It fixed the vertical lines on the right side and then immediately, the screen went black. Haven't been able to get a picture since. Were the vertical lines a symptom of something more severe that I caused to happen prematurely?
ReplyDeletefuck your music !!!!

Hi, I had a similar problem with my LCD tv. I reseated the flex cable and lost all picture on the screen. Tried reseating both a few times but it never came back. All I touched were the flex cables. Any suggestions?
ReplyDeleteGreat video (had to turn the audio off though). I thought I would mention that a burnishing brush works wonders on those cables.
ReplyDeleteproblem solved! Thank you so much!!!
ReplyDeleteHi I have a Samsung 29" DNIejr Television some white and colour horizontal line on the top of screen they reduce little bit after sometime, pl adivce
ReplyDeleteHi is this the same principle for one vertical line for a 3d LED tv (samsung PS50C7000) ?
ReplyDeleteAppreciate any help you can offer!
Hello, I have one white vertical line with my samsung lcd tv that looks like the one you have at 2:35 but I have reset my flex cables and no change but they also don't change when I flex my tv. Can you guide me to what might be the problem if my cables have been reset? Thanks for the video!!!!
ReplyDeleteI don't understand this. I am assuming that your TV, as mine is, hangs static on the wall, or sits on a stand, another assumption is the use of the remote... Why is the TV flexing?
ReplyDeleteHi, This video is great but I have a similar problem with my samsung LCD tv, just not exactly the same. The left half of my screen goes dark, an moves slower and kind of ghosts when the tv is first turned on and then works fine when i tap the back of the tv and the same thing only occurs every so often once the tv has "warmed up" and then goes away after 20-30 secs. Any suggestions or ideas would be great. thanks!
ReplyDeletesecure them with something not conductive and heat resistant, like I did on this video. You have the same problem, just that the false contact is on the union with the bond tabs. It's not always fixable, Its not always fixable, but Its worth the try. Be very careful, the screen is very delicate and expensive. also you'll be working while the tv is on, So again, be very very careful, you could get an electric shock. Good luck!
ReplyDeletehi there, Ok, for all the symptoms you tell me you'll need to disasamble the tv, back cover, front cover, then remove the metalic frame it holds in place the screen, you need to be very careful, before removing it, be sure to lay down the tv cause after removing the metal frame the screen could fall and breake, its the only thing that holds it in place. once you remove that, start pressing gently the bond tabs on the left side once you find the one or ones that are causeing the flicke
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately these are not the lines that are problematic for me! They are horizontal, quite thin and flicker about somewhat randomly.
ReplyDeleteThanks, another great video!
